Ruffian Repairs

Unfortunately the Ruffian is still not ready for the water. There is a major repair ongoing to the skeg which is being carried out on an irregular basis by an expert from outside the club. Pressure is being kept on to get it done and hopefully the repair will be completed this week.

A lot of work is ongoing on the Ruffian lately : Noel removed the rudder and started the job on the Skeg, - New electrics are being attended to by Damien Bradley and Keith, - Noel and myself are working on replacing the plumbing for the head, - Ann "bluey" Coyne sanded the hull in preparation for anti-foul and the cockpit for painting and - the "lotto" men Peter and Pascal who did various jobs and generally had a smashing time!

Ruffian Sailing

Noel will bring out people next Sunday 15th on a non-sid Ruffian. Please contact Noel if you wish to go out.

Stephen Tiernan (past SID member) has agreed to bring out some people on his Ruffian next week. (probably Wed or Thurs) Give me a call if you are interested. SPACES ARE LIMITED so places will be allocated of a first come basis!

More members

The club needs more members. Can you promote the club in any way? Word of mouth, notice at your workplace, advertisement in staff magazine?
